EW reports that Leonard Nimoy will provide the voice to Sentinel Prime in TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON. The character is a predecessor to Optimus Prime and was seen in rumble on the Moon in 1969 in the teaser trailer. His Earthly form is that of a fire engine. As TRANSFORMERS fans know, Nimoy is not new to the world of Hasbro’s robots; he voiced Galvatron in the original THE TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE. Michael Bay (who is related to Limoy through marriage) is again directing the film, which is set to hit theaters on July 1.
