Simon Hunter (MUTANT CHRONICLES) will direct an adaptation of the online graphic novel LAST BLOOD, reports Deadline.com. The story takes place after a zombie apocalypse nearly wipes out all humans, spurring vampires to protect the remaining men and women against the walking dead in order to save their own lives.

Keenspot Comics' Chris and Bobby Crosby created the alongside illustrator Owen Gieni. Bobby Crosby and Nick V. Sterling penned the script.

Christian Arnold-Beutel (IRONCLAD), Red Giant Media's Aimee Schoof, Isen Robbins and Benny R. Powell, and the Crosby brother will exec produce.
