Miike Remaking Harakiri

Takashi Miike is planning a remake of Masaki Kobayashi's HARAKIRI, reports Variety. The story follows a samurai who wants to avenge the seppuku of his son-in-law. Ebizo Ichikawa is set to star. Miike will shoot in 3-D. Production is planned to start in October.
