McQuilken joins Cartoon Network
KIM MCQUILKEN has been promoted to executive vice president of CARTOON
NETWORK sales and marketing. Based in Atlanta, his new responsibilities
will include sales and marketing for Cartoon Network.com. Formerly senior
vice president and general sales manager for the unit, McQuilken joined
Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., in 1992 as director of marketing for
special projects for the 1994 Goodwill Games in St. Petersburg, Russia.
After the Games, he served as vice president, sports and brand licensing
for Turner Home Entertainment. He joined Cartoon Network in 1996 and was
promoted to senior vice president of licensed promotions and presence
marketing for Turner Broadcasting Sales in January 1998.
