Tina McCann, the former chief content officer for Turner Broadcasting's European, Middle Eastern and Asian kids' brands, has been named head of Nickelodeon U.K., reports VARIETY. She will start her role as SVP/managing director of Nickelodeon U.K. on May 10th. She will oversee all of Nick's U.K. brands. While at Turner, McCann launched European versions of Cartoon Network and TCM, as well as CETV in China.
