Shawn Levy is set to direct 20th Century Fox's FANTASTIC VOYAGE remake, reports Deadline.com. Shane Salerno penned the script and Laeta Kalogridis did rewrites on the tale that follows shrunken scientists who enter the blood stream of a colleague in order to save his life.

Last year, Paul Greengrass has eyeing the project. Darren Aronofsky, Timur Bekmambetov, Jonathan Mostow and Louis Leterrier all met with producer James Cameron about possibly taking the gig as well.
