Summit Entertainment has tapped director Matt Reeves (LET ME IN) and writer Jacob Estes (MEAN CREEK) to adapt Kenneth Oppel's THIS DARK ENDEAVOR: THE APPRENTICESHIP OF VICTOR FRANKENSTEIN, reports ComingSoon.net. Karen Rosenfelt (THE TWILIGHT SAGA) is the producer.
The story follows a young Victor Frankenstein, with the help of his friends Elizabeth and Henry, as he tries to brew the Elixir of Life in order to save his ill twin brother Konrad.
