Hollywood-based RUGRATS producer Klasky Csupo has promoted Hal Waite to senior vice president of Feature Animation, which now plans to produce one feature film per year, and Cella Duffy to senior vice president of Television Animation. Waite, who has been with the company since '96 and was a co-producer on THE RUGRATS MOVIE, is currently working on the RUGRATS sequel, scheduled for Christmas 2000. Duffy, who has been with Klasky Csupo since 1991, will serve as an executive producer on every television production including THE WILD THORNBERRYS and THE RUGRATS, two of Nickelodeon's powerhouse series. She will also oversee the new Nickelodeon TV series, ROCKET POWER, scheduled for fall 1999 release, as well as all home video productions for Nickelodeon and McDonalds (like the October release SCARED SILLY). Both Waite and Duffy will report directly to CEO/president Terry Thoren.
