Producers Justin Lin and Scott Stuber are going with total fresh faces for their untitled sci-fi crime thriller. Heat Vision reports that they have tapped new writer Daniel Casey to pen the script. Casey recently emerged from the Reliance/Imagine Writing Lab.

Bobby Glickert conceived the idea for the film and penned a treatment. He will make his directing debut on the flick. He was Lin's former assistant.

The story is being kept under wraps, but it is said that it crosses HEAT with Bourne with a sci-fi twist.

Jay Polidoro is shepherding for Universal and Jon Mone is doing the same for Stuber Pictures.
