Darren Lemke (JACK THE GIANT KILLER) will adapt the animated feature BEASTS OF BURDEN, based on Evan Dorkin and Jill Thompson's Dark Horse comic, reports Heat Vision. Andrew Adamson (THE CHRONCILES OF NARNIA: THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE) will direct with Reel FX handling the animation.

The tale follows a group of dogs and one cat that partner to save their owners from a supernatural danger.

Adamson will also produce alongside Strange Weather Films' Aron Warner and Dark Horse's Mike Richardson. Dark Horse’s Keith Goldberg will exec produce.
