Infogrames, Inc., announced that entertainment industry veterans Jason Bell and Alyssa Padia have joined Infogrames' North American management team. Bell will become senior vice president of publishing for Infogrames' North American operations, while Padia will become senior vice president of corporate evolution. Bell will head all publishing activities for Infogrames' labels in the U.S. For the past six years, Bell has worked at Electronic Arts and Kesmai. During that time, he held senior management roles focused on development of single player and multi-player games. "Infogrames is fortunate to find an individual who combines product experience, on-line experience, creativity and charisma," said Bruno Bonnell, chairman and CEO of Infogrames. "His development background along with his marketing background make him the right person to lead our labels' publishing, product planning and development efforts." In her new role, Padia will oversee strategic new business development opportunities such as on-line and broadband. Most recently, Padia spent three years with Sony Computer Entertainment of Europe where she was a member of the senior management team responsible for launching the PlayStation game console in Europe. Prior to Sony, she held a variety of management positions within the entertainment industry, including director of worldwide direct marketing for Columbia Tristar Home Video and director of international sales and marketing at Hanna-Barbera Home Video. "We are extremely excited to have Alyssa join our management team," said Bonnell. "Her breadth of experience in the entertainment industry will help lead Infogrames in new directions as we continue to explore a more mass market, global approach to interactive entertainment."
