Videogame developer and publisher Ignition Ent. has added two executives to its U.S. team -- Susan Hale as Executive Director of Public Relations and Melody Khanbeigi as Product Marketing Manager.

Hale comes to Ignition with more than 25 years of public relations expertise with posts at Disney, Universal and Tokyopop. Khanbeigi's background includes roles at THQ, Disney and Experian.

Known best in the United States for its breakout hit and critically acclaimed puzzle game, Mercury Meltdown for Wii, PSP and PlayStation 2, Ignition Ent. has been building its U.S. presence since 2004. Last year, Ignition completed an investment acquisition deal with UTV Software Communications in India. Last June, the company announced that Ajay Chadha, one of the co-founders of the company, would join the U.S. office as its new president. With the new key executive leadership, an infusion of funds and a strong worldwide media partner, Ignition has grown and flourished with key product and license acquisitions establishing its long-term, high-quality next-generation development.

Ignition Ent. currently offers products across major gaming consoles and handheld platforms including Nintendo DS, Wii, PSP, PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360. In addition, Ignition has products in development for all major next generation platforms and Windows PC.
