ICEBOX.COM, the soon-to-be launched original animated content site, has appointed GARY LEVINE president of Icebox Entertainment. Levine left his post as executive VP of creative affairs at Warner Bros. Television to join Icebox.com where he will oversee all aspects of series development and production, forge deals with traditional entertainment outlets and help Icebox.com expand the scope of its creative partnerships. With 15 years of primetime development experience at Warner Bros., ABC, Witt-Thomas Productions and Columbia Pictures Television, industry veteran Gary Levine is credited with the development of such series as THE WEST WING, THIRD WATCH, JACK AND JILL, NORM and TWIN PEAKS. "Gary has an impeccable reputation among writers, agents and industry executives alike as a creative force in developing both comedy and drama series. His relationships and experience will be invaluable to the success of Icebox," said Icebox CEO Steve Stanford.
