Paramount Pictures has picked up Willie Block and Jake Emanuel's action take on THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, reports RISKY BUSINESS. The plot combines new ideas with the structure of the original tale. The film is describes as a PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN-like adventure.

Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian are the producers. Edward Fee is shepherding the production for Paramount.
