New Line, Warner Bros. and MGM have given the go-ahead to THE HOBBIT, according to Heat Vision. Peter Jackson will start shooting the two films in Feb. 2011. What is still not decided is where the films will shoot. A dispute with unions in New Zealand need to be resolved before the film can go into production there as planned. Warner is scouting five different alternative locations if a deal can be set with the Kiwi actors.
