Oscar-nominee Anne Hathaway (RACHEL GETTING MARRIED, Neil Patrick Harris (TV's HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER) and Rodrigo Santoro (300) are in talks to voice characters in Blue Sky and Fox Animation's next animated feature RIO from director Carlos Saldanha, according to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER.

The 3-D flick centers on a bookish macaw who leaves his cage in Minnesota to head back to Rio de Janeiro. Fox has April 8, 2011 penciled in for the film's release.

The producers are Chris Jenkins (SURF'S UP) and Bruce Anderson (DR. SEUSS' HORTON HEARS A WHO!).
