Legendary Pictures has hired Max Borenstein to pen the latest draft of GODZILLA, reports Heat Vision. David Goyer (THE DARK KNIGHT) took the first crack at the script.

Gareth Edwards (MONSTERS) is set to direct. Legendary's Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni and Dan Lin, Roy Lee and Brian Rogers are the producers.

Warner Bros. will release the film.
