Sir Elton John's Rocket Pictures and writer/director Kelly Asbury, who made the animated feature GNOMEO & JULIET, are reuniting for a live-action/CG hybrid adaptation of WILL GALLOWS AND THE SNAKE BELLIED TROLL, reports Deadline.com. Based on Derek Keilty's book series, the story follows a young cowboy through a world that combines the Wild West with fantasy.

Rocket Pictures' Steve Hamilton Shaw and David Furnish are the producers alongside Asbury. John is the exec producer.
