Global Animation Names Hagen VP Of Marketing

Marketing executive Michelle Hagen has joined Global Animation as vice president of marketing & business development. In this position, she will oversee the worldwide client development of Global Animation’s three principal companies: Spectrum Studios in Los Angeles, ImagineAsia and VirtualMagic ASIA in Manila, Philippines. Hagen comes to Global with 12 years of industry experience, having worked for some of Hollywood’s most successful studios. Most recently, she held a four-year position as vice president of worldwide marketing for IMAX where she developed and supervised the implementation of film marketing strategies for all domestic and international releases. Prior to her work at IMAX, Hagen served as vice president of national promotions & field operations for Orion Pictures/Goldwyn Entertainment. “Michelle Hagen is one of the brightest young stars I have had the honor to work with in recent years,” said David Forbes, CEO of Global Animation. “She brings industry experience, business acumen and a plethora of invaluable relationships to Global Animation. I am excited about her leadership capabilities and what that will mean to this company.” Hagen joins the roster of Global Animation’s recently acquired talent including optical motion capture expert Demian Gordon, who has joined Spectrum Studios as motion capture supervisor, and Catherine Jing Luo, who will serve as director of business development.
