Gervais Goes to the Dogs for New Spy Kids
Ricky Gervais will his voice to a robot spy dog in SPY KIDS: ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD, reports ComingSoon.net. As Argonaut, he joins Jessica Alba, Jeremy Piven, Joel McHale, Rowan Blanchard and Mason Cook. Returning franchise stars include Antonio Banderas, Danny Trejo, Alexa Vega and Daryl Sabara.
Alba plays a retired spy that is married to a spy-hunting journalist, whose two children resent her presence in their house. When the villain Timekeeper tries to take over the world, she is re-enlisted and recruits her stepkids for help.
Robert Rodriguez is returning as the director and writer.
The film will hit theaters on Aug. 19, 2011.
