Nope animation fans, Disney is not turning the 1990s animated series GARGOYLES into a feature, but it is in talks with Zoe Green to pen a gargoyle-themed live-action adventure, reports VARIETY. Lauren Shuler Donner is set to produce.

Green developed the concept with Disney exec LouAnne Brickhouse, who will oversee for Disney.

Green's credits include POW! Ent.'s TIGRESS; Syfy miniseries THE DIAMOND AGE: OR A YOUNG LADY'S ILLUSTRATED PRIMER, an adaptation of the Neal Stephenson book; and the animated series WOLVERINE AND THE X-MEN.
