Announcement from MoCCA:

Image
The legendary Gahan Wilson, famous for his bizarrely humorous work for Playboy and National Lampoon, shows and tells you how to make humorous cartoons (the non-animated kind) that reflect your own sensibilities and point-of-view. Using his own life and career as reference points, Gahan will give you pointers and advice about the art and business of cartooning that only this master of the medium can provide.

GAHAN WILSON is an award-winning cartoonist, author and illustrator. His "playfully grotesque" style is recognized the world over, having appeared in Playboy, The New Yorker, National Lampoon (the popular “Nuts” feature) and many other publications. Wilson has become a well-known figure in the world of science fiction and fantasy, and authored several children's books. In 2009, Fantagraphics Books released Gahan Wilson: 50 Years of Playboy Cartoons, a slipcased, three-volume collection of Wilson's cartoons and short stories for that magazine, and in 2011 released a collected edition of “Nuts.”
