Futurama, Prep & Landing, Boardwalk Empire Win Creative Emmys

Call it the comeback king. The Comedy Central resurrected FUTURAMA won Outstanding Animated Program at the Creative Arts Emmys Awards on Saturday, Sept, 10, 2011. Matt Groening and David X. Cohen's sci-fi spoof also won Outstanding Voice-Over Performance for Maurice LaMarche's work as Lrrr and Orson Welles.

Disney's PREP & LANDING: OPERATION SECRET SANTA took home the prize for Outstanding Short-Format Animated Program.

In the vfx realm, BOARDWALK EMPIRE took home Outstanding Special Visual Effects For A Series, while GETTYSBURG won Outstanding Special Visual Effects For A Miniseries, Movie Or A Special.

The ceremony took place at the Nokia Theater L.A. Live in downtown L.A. REELZCHANNEL will broadcast the event on Sept. 17th at 8 p.m. ET.
