ZODIAC director David Fincher is still pushing a 3D animated version of HEAVY METAL with all-star directors attached, reports Deadline.com. Now Fincher has added named like James Cameron and Zack Snyder to the list of interested directors in the anthology flick.

Previously, Fincher had TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES co-creator and HEAVY METAL magazine publisher Kevin Eastman and Blur Studios' Tim Miller helming segments.

Because it's an R-rated animated flick finding a producer and distributor might still be difficult for Fincher to find.
