Lionsgate U.K. and producer Kris Thykier's PeaPie Films are set to produce the sci-fi flick THE FALLEN, reports Variety. Ruairi Robinson (FIFTY PERCENT GREY) is directing from script by Andrew Will. The story follows special ops team sent to wipe out a crashed alien spaceship in Russia that is creating a 400-mile wide electronics dead zone. The budget is set at $35 million. The studios hope to start production at the start of 2012.
