Enchanted 2 Lands Writer
Disney has hired Jessie Nelson (FRED CLAUS) to write a sequel to ENCHANTED, reports VARIETY. THE PROPOSAL's Anne Fletcher will direct. Barry Josephson and Barry Sonnenfeld are the producers.
Disney is looking to bring back the original cast, which included Amy Adams, James Marsden, Patrick Dempsey and Susan Sarandon.
After circling development hell for years, the original ENCHANTED made $340 million globally, $123 million of that coming domestically.

Anybody know if they're planning any animation for the sequel? I can't find a single whiff of a mention. There are certainly a lot of people to choose from right now if they needed to crew up (but the potential schedule... yikes!).
