Comic creator Mark Wheatley told FearNet.com that THE CRAZIES director Breck Eisner would adapt his comic BLOOD OF THE INNOCENT into a feature film.

The BLOOD film would follow Eisner's work on the remake of ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK and come before his remake of FLASH GORDON. Bill Marsilii (DEJA VU) is adapting the script.

Rickey Shanklin co-wrote the comic, which pits Dracula against Jack the Ripper.

Circle of Confusion is pitching the project to studios.
