Eddie Murphy to Voice Hong Kong Phooey

Alcon Ent. has found its voice for Hong Kong Phooey – Eddie Murphy. ComingSoon.net reports that the Donkey voice actor will provide his voice to the janitor by day doogie and karate fighting hero by night.

Alex Zamm (DR. DOLITTLE) is the director with Alcon’s Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove, Jay Stern and Brett Ratner producing. Steven P. Wegner is exec producing.

HONG KONG PHOOEY was created by Hanna-Barbera and first aired on ABC in 1974.
