Solipsist Films has picked up the rights to Top Cow's upcoming vampire graphic novel IN THE DUST, reports Heat Vision. Created by George Mahaffey and Christian Duce, the plot centers on an FBI agent investigating the disappearances of whole families during the Midwest Dust Bowl in the 1930s. Mahaffey will pen the script.

Solipsist's Stephen L'Heureux and Top Cow’s Matt Hawkins will produce. Marc Silvestri is the exec producer.

Top Cow plans to publish the graphic novel next year.
