Universal is in talks with Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer (DOCTOR STRANGE) to adapt Mark Millar and Tony Harris comic WAR HEROES, reports Heat Vision. The story follows U.S. super soldiers who go rogue and form a criminal org. One noble superpowered soldier sets out to stop them.

Michael De Luca, Chris Morgan and Trigger Street’s Dana Brunetti are the producers. Jay Polidoro will shepherd the project for the studio. Millar and Harris will exec produce.

The project was previously set up at Columbia, but they declined to renew the rights.
