Universal has tapped Blake Masters, the creator of the TV series BROTHERHOOD, to do a redux on its COLOSSUS remake, reports Variety. The original 1970s production followed supercomputers in the U.S. and Russia, which begin sharing secrets, and how the two nations have to come together to stop the computers from waging war against humans.

Jason Rothenberg penned the first draft. Imagine's Brian Grazer is set to produce alongside exec producers Erica Huggins and David J. Collins. Jeff Kirschenbaum and Anikah McLaren are shepherding for Universal.
