Nickelodeon has promoted Marjorie Cohn to the post of president, original programming and development, for the Nickelodeon/MTV Networks Kids and Family Group, reports VARIETY. Previously, Cohn oversaw all live-action production for Nick, original programming for Nick at Nite and Teen Nick, Nick's made-for-TV movies and live events like KIDS CHOICE AWARDS.

She will report to Nick/MTVN Kids and Family Group president Cyma Zarghami.

Cohn came to Nick in 1988 working as a unit manager. She later became a producer on DOUBLE DARE. Through the years she has overseen GET THE PICTURE, SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS, THE FAIRLY ODDPARENTS, ALL THAT and NICK NEWS WITH LINDA ELLERBEE.
