Simona Fabbri has joined Cartoon Network Italy in the newly created position of director of content. Fabbri will be responsible for the programming schedule and acquiring Italian shows, in addition to coordinating the network's and Website's content. She will also oversee the promos and on-air look of the channel. Previously, Simona worked at the Italian Disney channel where she started as acquisitions manager, moving to asset manager. "With her fresh ideas and knowledge of the local market, Simona is the perfect person to assist in our plan to keep Cartoon Network the number one channel for kids in Italy," said Lynne Frank, executive vice president and managing director, Entertainment Networks, TBS Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Cartoon Network Italy is available in 1.6 million homes in Italy and Italian speaking Switzerland. It is broadcast by Stream and Tele+ in Italy and by Cablecom Ticino in Switzerland.
