Deadline.com reports that Jeffrey Reiner is in final talks to helm the pilot for NBC's WONDER WOMAN. Produced by David E. Kelley for Warner Bros. TV, the re-imagining finds Diana Prince, a successful corporate exec, moonlighting as the crimefighting vigilante Wonder Woman. McG was in line to direct, but scheduling conflicts derailed those efforts.

Reiner has a good track record of directing pilots that go on to series. His credits include NBC's TRAUMA and THE EVENT, and Syfy's CAPRICA. He was also a director/co-exec producer on FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS.
