BVITV Promotes 3 European Sales

Buena Vista International Television (BVITV) has promoted three members of its London, Munich and Rome-based programming sales teams.

Carsten Fink, based in Munich, has been promoted from director of sales to exec director, sales, German-speaking markets. Carsten Fink joined BVITV in 2000 from United Distributors, where he was an international sales manager. Fink leads German-speaking sales for such territories as Germany, Austria and Switzerland and reports to BVITV’s vp of sales, Alison Homewood.

Francesca Tauriello, based in Rome, has been promoted from director, sales, to exec director, sales, Northern Mediterranean markets. She came to BVITV in 2001 and was previously a business unit manager with Nestlé Italiana. Tauriello spearheads sales in Italy, in Italian-speaking Switzerland and will now oversee Greece, Turkey, Cyprus and Malta. She also reports to Homewood.

Kerry Henchy, based in London, has been promoted from sales co-coordinator to sales executive, strategic markets. Henchy joined BVITV sales in 2000. She covers territories such as South Africa and Scandinavia, plus a specialization in areas such as BVITV’s portfolio of ABC News programming (including 20/20 and PRIME TIME segments). Henchy reports to Maria Bayman, exec director, strategic markets.

BVITV’s team is responsible for pay TV, free TV, pay-per-view and video-on-demand sales of all Walt Disney Television International’s feature films and TV programs, including Walt Disney Pictures, Touchstone Pictures and Miramax Films features, Touchstone TV programs and Disney branded shows.
