Burton to Direct Peculiar Children Adaptation
Tim Burton is in negotiations to direct an adaptation of Ransom Riggs' novel MISS PEREGRINE’S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN, reports Deadline.com. 20th Century Fox and Chernin Ent. hold the rights to the popular tome.
The story follows a 16-year-old who travels to Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, the orphanage his grandfather told him tall tales about, where he believes the dangerous, super-powered residents might still be lurking around.
Peter Chernin, Dylan Clark and Jenno Topping will produce.
