Bryan Singer is about to sign on to direct the pilot and exec produce NBC's redux of THE MUNSTERS, writes The Hollywood Reporter. The classic comedy will be transformed into a one-hour drama that explores the origins of Herman and Lily Munster. Writer Bryan Fuller (DEAD LIKE ME) will also exec produce. Singer isn't new to directing TV pilots, having helmed the first episodes of HOUSE and FOOTBALL WIVES.
