AVATAR writer Laeta Kalogridis will rewrite the script for the James Cameron-produced remake of FANTASTIC VOYAGE, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Shane Salerno, and Cormac and Marianne Wibberly, as well as other writers, have all taken stabs at the script at some point in the film's long development.

The classic sci-fi film follows a scientific team that shrinks themselves to voyage into a dying colleague in order to save his life.
