Reports earlier this week had Darren Aronofsky in talks to helm Fox's X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE 2, but now The Playlist translates a CNN Mexico interview with BABEL screenwriter Guillermo Arriaga where he says Aronofsky will start location scouting for THE TIGER later this year. Arriaga adapted John Vaillant's novel, which follows an animal activist who helps a small Serbian town whose citizens are being attacked by a tiger. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are set to star. Focus Features and Random House are co-producing.
