Ant Bully Producer Dies
Veteran animation producer Alex Johns has died, reports VARIETY. He passed on Aug. 7 following a long-term illness. He was 43 years old.
Johns was a producer on Warner Bros.' THE ANT BULLY, as well as FUTURAMA and OLIVE, THE OTHER REINDEER. He began his career in animation as a production coordinator on THE REN AND STIMPY SHOW.
Despite being colorblind, he started his Hollywood career in the 1980s colorizing classic films.
His mother and four brothers survive him.

Wow - just saw this. Alex was a good guy. He always seemed pretty damn healthy, and wow, what a professional, he never mentioned his health issues on the job. Sorry to hear it.
Actually, he was a spectacular asshole. I wish I could say otherwise.
Thats' very sad, my condolences to Mr. Johns family. Sounds like a very driven and passionate spirit.
