Amityville Spin-Off in Development
Hannibal Classics is developing a spinoff of THE AMITYVILLE HORROR titled THE AMITYVILLE LEGACY 3D, reports ComingSoon.net. The film will be an adaptation of John G. Jones' book AMITYVILLE: THE EVIL ESCAPES.
The story follows Nancy and Michael Evans, with their daughter Amanda, who go to live in the house of Nancy's sister who recently committed suicide and care for her children. Upon arriving Nancy senses an evil presence living in the home.
Richard Rionda Del Castro, Paul Mason and Steve B. Harris are producing. Andrew Helm and Harris will pen the script.
Production will start in the fall for a 2012 release.
