Director Alex Zamm will helm MARVIN THE MARTIAN, a big screen feature film based around Bugs Bunny's nemesis, according to THE LOS ANGELES TIMES.

The character, which was introduced in the 1948 cartoon short HAREDEVIL HARE, will make plans to destroy earth on Christmas but ends up being wrapped up as a Christmas present instead.

Marvin will be CG, but in the film he'll be surrounded by live actors. Paul Kaplan and Mark Tosgrove are writing the screenplay. Mike Myers are also reportedly in talk to voice Marvin.
