Anthony Horowitz, the writer of the ALEX RIDER YA series, told Richard Bacon’s Radio 5 talk show that he would be writing the second TINTIN film to be directed by Peter Jackson, reports Bleeding Cool. The scribe is doing rewrites on the first film, THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN: THE SECRET OF THE UNICORN, which also has Steven Moffat, Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish as writers.

He also revealed that the second film would be titled THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN: PRISONERS OF THE SUN. In the Hergé comic, the story followed Tintin and Captain Haddock on an adventure to rescue Professor Calculus from Chiquito, one of the last Incan descendants.
