Paula Patton has been cast as the female lead in MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 4, reports Deadline.com. She will play a rookie operative who is partnered with Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt.
Now word comes that MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 4 is only a temporary title with the film being seen as a reboot of the franchise.
Brad Bird will direct with Cruise and J.J. Abrams are producing. Paramount and Skydance are funding the production.
