Press Release by They Might Be Giants

Musical group They Might Be Giants celebrate the announcement of their 2012 US tour with a dramatic video set to their track "When Will You Die?" The video tracks the creation and short life of an 18-foot paper and wood replica of the day-glo pink monster hearse that graces the cover of They Might Be Giants album Join Us. World-renowned graphic artist Paul Sahre created the original cover, and after designing a 3D scale model of the hearse decided he wanted to take this project to another level. So he set his laser printer to 3400%, and then set himself and his design staff to work to create the most monster of model monster trucks. The result is a video that must be seen to the end.

The tour, in support of both Join Us and the companion rarities album Album Raises new and Troubling Question, begins with a performance on Conan on January 26th,  then on to a special 30th Anniversary show at Royce Hall in Los Angeles and a tour across the United States. The bands final show is March 10th in the band’s hometown of New York City.
