Munich/London, 18 June 2009 -- The brand new PAT&STAN series (39 x 7-minute) was awarded the Jury's Special Prize for Best TV Series at the Annecy Animation Festival 2009 last week. This hilarious show is produced by highly-acclaimed French production house, MacGuff and is now fully delivered and lined-up for launch on TV-screens in more than 170 territories worldwide this coming Autumn.
Meanwhile the licensing programme has already begun to take shape with TV-Loonland recently securing a pan-European deal with prestigious Toyco, Bandai Europe for PAT&STAN capsule toys for sale via vending machines. The high energy comedy duo are perfectly adapted to the toy & gaming categories for both kids and older collectors. A further licensing contract has been inked with German plush figurehead, Schmidt Spiele. Plush figures of both Pat and Stan will be launched at Nuremberg Toy Fair in February 2010, with products to roll-out at retail shortly after.
In addition to the PAT & STAN deal, Bandai Europe's vending division also picked-up the same capsule toy rights to TV-Loonland's cult international hit series, THE OWL.
