Carol Lundberg, who worked for such studios as Filmation Assoc., Marvel Prods., Hanna-Barbera Studios and Hyperion Pictures, died on Feb. 11, 2007, reports THE BIG CARTOON DATABASE. She was 72.

In 1969, Lundberg began work as a layout artist for Filmation, where she worked until 1981. Her Filmation layout credits included: STAR TREK (1973), THE SECRET LIVES OF WALDO KITTY (1975), THE NEW ADVENTURES OF BATMAN (1977), THE YOUNG SENTINELS (1977), THE FAT ALBERT CHRISTMAS SPECIAL (1977) and THE NEW ADVENTURES OF FLASH GORDON (1979).

Later she would serve as layout supervisor for FILMATION'S HE-MAN AND THE MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE (1983). She took the role of character designer for SHAZAM! (1981) and SHE-RA, PRINCESS OF POWER (1985). She was a character design supervisor on BLACKSTAR (1981).

For Marvel, she was a model designer on G.I. JOE (1983) and later worked as a character designer on G.I. JOE: THE MOVIE (1987).

For Hanna-Barbera, she served as a background key designer on THE PIRATES OF DARK WATER (1991) and was a layout artist for ONCE UPON A FOREST (1993).

At Ruby-Spears Prods., she was the storyboard director for MEGA MAN (1994).

She gave up active membership in The Animation Guild in 1997.
