Walker Edmiston, a veteran voice actor, died on Feb. 15, 2007, at a Woodland Hills, California hospital, according to the Big Cartoon Database. He was 81 years old.

Edmiston may be best known for taking over the role of Beany on Bob Clampett's original TIME FOR BEANY after Daws Butler left the puppet show. He would later host his own puppet show, THE WALKER EDMISTON SHOW, for Los Angeles' KTLA.

His first credited TV animation role was as con man J. Montague Gypsum in the 1962 FLINTSTONES' episode "This Is Your Lifesaver." His other credits include PANDAMONIUM, THE GUMMI BEARS, TRANSFORMERS, TOP CAT, YOGI'S ARK LARK, NANNY AND THE PROFESSOR AND THE PHANTOM OF THE CIRCUS, MISS SWITCH TO THE RESCUE, RUNAWAY RALPH, PLASTIC MAN, SPIDER-MAN AND HIS AMAZING FRIENDS, SPIDER-MAN, SMURFS, THE ADVENTURES OF THE LITTLE PRINCE, MONCHHICHIS, JEM and BEN 10.

For theatrical productions, Edminston voiced characters for THE GREAT MOUSE DETECTIVE, the theatrical animated short GAHAN WILSON'S DINER and the X-rated animated feature DIRTY DUCK.

As for commercials, he took over the role of Ernie, the Keebler Elf, after Parley Baer.
