Paramount Pictures has promoted Kimberly LoCascio to SVP of visual effects. LoCascio had been VP of visual effects since 2004. Added to her duties of shepherding the development and production of visual effects for Paramount, MTV Films and Nickelodeon Movies productions, she will oversee feature animation and and specialty projects, such 3-D films. Since joining Paramount, she has worked on CHARLOTTE'S WEB, MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE III, WORLD TRADE CENTER, CLOVERFIELD and THE SPIDERWICK CHRONICLES. Prior to Paramount, LoCascio was a freelance VFX producer. Her career started at ILM.
