Paramount has picked up the rights to Penny Arcade's online comic NEW KID as its animated follow-up to RANGO, writes The Hollywood Reporter. In this story, the new kid happens to be the only Earthling in an intergalactic school of aliens.
Gary Whitta (BOOK OF ELI) will adapt the script. Disruption Ent.'s Mary Parent and Cale Boyter are the producers.
